Let’s Do Business Finance has been shortlisted for Scale Up Business of the Year at the Sussex Chamber Business Awards 2026, recognising a year of strong, sustainable growth and increasing impact in supporting UK SMEs.
The award celebrates organisations demonstrating exceptional growth alongside a clear plan for long-term financial sustainability.
Over the past 11 months to February 2026, Let’s Do Business Finance has significantly expanded its lending activity, increasing total lending from £8.69m to £1.17m, an 28% rise, and supporting 650 businesses. Growth lending to established businesses has increased exponentially from £2.4m to £4.22m, reflecting a 76% increase in higher-value finance helping businesses scale, create jobs, and drive regional economic growth.
A key driver of this expansion has been the organisation’s role in the rollout of the British Business Bank Community ENABLE Funding programme. As the first accredited UK lender for the scheme, Let’s Do Business Finance secured an initial £6 million investment, increasing capacity to support underserved businesses, including female-led, ethnic minority-led, and those in disadvantaged areas.
Despite rapid growth, the organisation has maintained a strong focus on service quality, expanding its team by three staff and achieving 81 five-star Google reviews from clients praising its supportive, relationship-led approach.

Looking ahead, Let’s Do Business Finance aims to continue its growth trajectory, with a long-term ambition of reaching £25 million in annual lending by 2031, further strengthening its role within the UK’s CDFI sector.
