Enterprise Revolution CIC was originally established to create opportunities for people who are often overlooked by traditional business support. Our purpose has always been to help individuals develop the confidence, capability and connections needed to create sustainable livelihoods through enterprise, while strengthening the communities in which they live.
During our previous period of operation, we successfully designed and delivered a range of publicly funded enterprise and business support programmes across the North East of England. This included supporting participants through the New Enterprise Allowance (NEA) programme, delivering projects funded through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Social Fund (ESF), alongside a number of locally commissioned enterprise initiatives. Through these programmes we worked with people from a wide range of backgrounds, including those who were unemployed, economically inactive, early stage entrepreneurs, established small businesses and individuals facing significant barriers to self employment.
Our approach has always been rooted in practical, relationship based support rather than transactional advice. We believe that successful enterprise development starts with listening to individuals, understanding their aspirations and helping them build businesses that are sustainable for both themselves and their communities.
