Founded in 2009, LionHeart In The Community (LITC) is an award-winning UK social enterprise that mobilises the power of education, sport, technology and enterprise to break down social and economic barriers. With a mission to empower underserved individuals and communities, LITC delivers accredited qualifications, enterprise support, and social mobility programmes both in the UK and internationally.
LITC provides vocational qualifications from Level 2 to 7 across areas such as Health & Social Care, Childcare, Digital Skills, Business & Management, and Fitness. These are delivered via flexible online, blended and in-person formats. Beyond education, we operate intensive enterprise support services through our new initiative — LITC LaunchPad — a structured business accelerator for early-stage CICs, social entrepreneurs and underserved founders. LaunchPad offers affordable workspace, mentoring, tailored training, and bid writing resources — transforming our previously pro bono support into a scalable model.
