Exploring Social Value Engine Tools: What Members Can Access

Following our recent NEN Member Huddle with the Social Value Engine  which can be viewed here the team have shared a set of tools that members can view and explore online, offering a useful insight into how the platform supports impact reporting.

Tools available to view

  • Impact Card Studio Members can view example impact cards and see how qualitative narratives are structured. Full card creation and project integration are available to licensed users https://impactcardstudio.com/
  • Theory of Change Builder The interface can be explored to understand how activities, outputs and outcomes are mapped. Using the tool for live programme design or exporting completed models requires a licence. https://www.socialvalueengine.com/theory-of-change-builder
  • Place Explorer Members can view the demonstration version to see how postcode‑based and geographic data can be visualised. Interactive exploration and data uploads are part of the licensed platform. https://place.socialvalueengine.com/
  • Customisable Dashboards Example dashboards, such as the CFI Loan Disbursals Dashboard, can be viewed to understand how visual layouts are built. Creating or customising dashboards is a licensed feature. CFI loan disbursals – 2023

Next steps

The Social Value Engine team is keen to continue working with NEN members.

We would like to arrange a further session to explore how these tools could support organisational and sector‑wide impact reporting.

If you’d like to discuss how the platform could apply to your own projects, please let lucy.flannery@nationalenterprisenetwork.org know.
